It had been too long since I last made one of these videos, so I thought I should piece together a little bit of what Eva has been up to in the past 5 months. The fortage was taken on both my old camera and new one, which I’m still learning to use, but love.

I have to say, this has to be one of my favourite videos of Eva. Although I often forget to take fortage of big events like Christmas, I’ve managed to capture so many little milestones — learning to independently put her shoes on, typing her name, singing the alphabet, spelling — along with regular outings to our favourite cafe, the boardwalk along the river and of course, Eva’s love of Toy Story!

Eva Lilly — 22-24 Months Old

While Eva continues to grow, I continue to document. I can’t hardly believe how quickly she is changing. And honestly say that I love every inch of the little girl Eva is becoming — filled with giggles, a cheeky smile and feisty, strong-headed streak.

A couple of days ago Eva turned 22 months old! And since I’ve return to work, life has been a little crazy around here and I haven’t had as much time for detailed blog posts, let alone editing and creating videos.

Last year I rather ambitiously set myself the goal of creating a video each month. However, apart from the video of our trip to Hawaii in January, it has been four months since I last made one. 

So, here is a little of what Eva has been up to over the past couple of months — dancing, running, giggling, playing, chatting and getting up to mischief!

My sweet little Eva Lilly is 18 months old today! A whole year and a half! 

Here is a little of what she has been up to over the past month. And since I didn’t create a video last month, I have enough footage for another little video, which I’ll post with Eva’s monthly update tomorrow.

I’m a little behind on posting Eva’s monthly video, but you know what they say, better late than never.

Yes, creating these videos can be a time consuming, but I create them knowing that this way they will not be left as little snippets lost on my computer or on our external hard drive.

I create them because I want to remember the little moments. The sweet sounds of Eva’s squeals as she laughs. The way she dances — arms free and spinning in circles. The way she flaps her arms in excitement. And of course her beautiful, smiling face.
